The carefully curated world-class selection of beers are worth a trip from anywhere in Minnesota. The German cuisine is a step up from bar food. I find the atmosphere cozy and pleasantly quirky. The owner devotes time, energy and money to make a success of what would be this beer geeks dream. If I had 3 thumbs I would give it 3 up. But, I don't, so 2 thumbs up!
Good food and beverages. Lots of seating. Nothing fancy but good down home cooking. Lots of variety on the menu.
Fish fry is great during the Summer season. Great beer selection. Nice owner/bartender. Will continue to come here.
A lot of micro Brew's to offer. Spendy though. The German Cuban was great!
Maybe we came on a bad day, but I wasn't impressed. I had heard a lot of good things, but my food wasn't what the menu promised and the service was slow. In fact, I had to get up from the table to get the server's attention. I'll not be returning.
